Car4Rent: Car Rental Website with Online Booking
A new website for Car4Rent, a car rental company in Chișinău since 2010, in Romanian, Russian, and English. It cuts the path from landing to the right car to a few clicks: the whole fleet on one page, filters that answer instantly, a live price for the chosen dates, and a booking request the office confirms.
Fewer clicks between a visitor and a car.
The old site made renters click through page after page to find a car, which cost bookings and search rankings. We rebuilt Car4Rent on a hand-coded WordPress theme: every car on one fleet page, a real address for each car class that Google can index, and a booking form that already knows the car, the dates, and the pickup point.
Book a car from the phone in hand.
Many renters book on a phone. The search, the filters, and the booking form all fit a phone screen, with the call button always in reach.
A price before the form
Pick the dates and the site totals the rental on the spot, from the client’s own rules: five price tiers per car, a three-day minimum, and the extra day for a late return.
Three currencies, one price
Prices are set in euros and shown in lei, euros, or dollars at the National Bank of Moldova’s rate for the day.
Every class, its own page
Economy, standard, SUV, luxury and business, and wedding cars each have an address search engines can index, while the finer filters stay instant in the browser.
A request the office confirms
Each booking reaches the office by email and is saved as a record in the admin, with the CASCO cover, extras, and any trip abroad included.
Reviews that ask themselves
After the return date the customer gets one email asking for a rating: happy renters are sent to Google, unhappy ones to a form on the site that goes to the office.
Rankings kept through the move
Every address from the old site redirects to its new page, so the links and rankings it had earned carry over.

Designed to collapse the funnel.
Navy, white, and a confident red-orange. The homepage answers the three questions a renter has (which car, how much, how fast) before asking for anything.
Key UX decisions
-
01
Search in the first screen
Pickup point, dates, and driver age sit right under the headline, so a ready renter goes straight to the cars that fit.
-
02
Cars, not promises
Real photos of the client’s own fleet, with seats, gearbox, fuel, and the daily price on every card.
-
03
Four steps, spelled out
Choose the dates, choose the car, send the request, pick up the keys: the whole process on the homepage, so nobody wonders what happens next.
-
04
Their language, their currency
Language and currency switches sit in the top bar, so a visitor from abroad feels at home from the first second.
